A Running Update
I’ve got out of the habit of running.
Basically, I’ve failed to run for a few weeks now. It started when I was ill, and being sensible (for a change) didn’t go out. Since then there’s been any number of excuses (which I won’t recount).
Before I stopped I’d been managing to go on the way to/from work at least once a week. Not necessarily a long run, maybe a 20 minute (or ~ 3KM) one. With the addition of hills/mud (as I was running mainly in a wooded forest park) this was not as easy as the flat 5KM I had been doing, but in many ways more enjoyable. I need to re-kindle that habit.
So here’s me committing to it, I’ll run at least twice a week from here on. As accountability I’ll report back in four weeks, with an update of how it’s been.
